Hachette Book Group has entered into an agreement to purchase a successful line of books from Minnesota-based Meadowbrook Press, a publisher known for its high-quality titles in the areas of pregnancy, childcare, and parenting. Since being founded by Bruce Lansky in 1975, Meadowbrook Press has grown to become one of America’s leading publishers of pregnancy, childcare, and parenting books. It is the number one publisher of baby name books in the country, with six baby-naming books in print and total sales of over eleven million copies. Meadowbrook Press was represented in this transaction by Book Advisors LLC.

Laurence King Publishing Acquires Amsterdam-based BIS / September 15, 2017 by David Lamb

Laurence King Publishing has acquired the English-language, Dutch design publisher, BIS, with the intent of increasing LKP’s access to the Dutch market, with local sales, distribution and marketing. BIS will continue to run an independent publishing programme overseen by BIS managing director, Bionda Dias. Book Advisors represented LKP in this transaction.
